How I got past an obstacle in my recovery

The moment you all have been waiting for. Speaking of meditation, there are two apps that I am using. It is my right-hand man. I use the app every day. I have discovered the calm app through my many trips to the ER ( I’m not joking) a psychologist who I am currently working with told me about tapping. Let me remind you from April to now this has saved me countless times. These apps speak to my soul and help manage the symptoms now.

Calm App -the app features meditation, sleep aid, gentle movement and stretching, and music designed to help you focus, relax, and sleep. ... There is a limited free version of the Calm app and a free 7-day trial of the premium version.

Tapping Solution App- also known as EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique), is a powerful holistic healing method. It is based on the combined principles of ancient Chinese acupressure and modern psychology.

The basic tapping technique requires you to focus on a negative emotion at hand - a fear, a worry, a bad memory, an unresolved problem, or anything that's bothering you. While maintaining your mental focus on this issue, you use your fingertips to tap 5-7 times on 9 specific meridian points of the body. Tapping on these meridian endpoints, while verbally or mentally addressing the root cause of distress, sends a calming signal from the body to the brain, allowing you to feel relaxed and in control.

Sounds interesting, right? Those are the two apps that I have been using to get through a big obstacle. Since using these apps, my panic attacks are less frequent, and I can manage my anxiety.
